brivis ducted heating

The most energy efficient, environmentally friendly gas ducted heater in Australia.
The Multiplex Series (MPS) includes both High Efficiency 5 star energy-rated heaters and Medium Efficiency 4 star-rated heaters. The MPS series has won the Australian Gas Association's Appliance of the Year award, as well as Galaxy Awards for the most energy-efficient product five years in a row. They are the most technically advanced, efficient and compact heaters on the market today.

Advanced technology
The technology used in the MPS series is a culmination of Brivis's 40 years of heating experience in Australia. The MPS features ensure that the heaters are far more effective at heating your home, with the least amount of energy, environmental damage and expense. Every stage of the MPS's operation has been thought about and designed to make it more reliable and unobtrusive for you.

All MPS heaters have a Hot Surface Ignition system to start the heater. Two confirmation rods on either side of the burner send a signal to confirm that there is ignition across the whole burner. This is an important safety feature which other heaters don't have.

The gas then comes on fully and the circulation fan starts up slowly at its lowest level. This ensures that the start up of the fan is extremely quiet and that the air is warm before it flows into your home.

The MPS High Efficiency units have a unique secondary heat exchanger which captures and uses the heat which is normally expelled from the unit into the environment. This means that every last bit of warmth generated by the burners is used to heat your house rather than being wasted.

The MPS series have very advanced Energy Management Systems. The first benefit of the Energy Management System is zoning, which effectively means you can divide your home into separate heating areas. During the day, you can heat the living areas, and during the night, your bedrooms. If you want the whole house heated at the same time, you can heat both zones. And the whole process is automatically controlled by your wall controller. It's up to you. Just ask your dealer about the zoning option.

The second great energy advance is the ability of the MPS to reduce the heater output by up to 60%. This means that the heater detects how many outlets you are currently operating and reduces the energy requirements automatically.

Once the temperature inside your home reaches your preset temperature, the burners inside the heating unit will turn off. The fan then gradually slows down ensuring that all the remaining heat inside the unit is used to heat your house.
